Yes. Dentists @ Canning Vale is a BUPA Members First Platinum preferred provider. This is BUPA’s highest tier of preferred dental providers in Australia. If you hold eligible BUPA Extras cover, you may be able to access no-gap or reduced-gap dental services at our clinic, subject to your policy, waiting periods and annual limits.

Being a BUPA preferred provider means we have agreed rates with BUPA for selected dental services. This can help reduce your out-of-pocket costs compared to visiting a non-preferred dentist.

What Does BUPA No-Gap Dental Include?

BUPA states that eligible Members First Platinum members may access up to two no-gap dental check-ups per calendar year. The no-gap check-up arrangement typically includes a periodic or comprehensive dental examination, a scale and clean, and fluoride treatment for eligible patients.

Items such as x-rays, fillings and extractions may not be included in the no-gap arrangement, though benefits may still be claimable under your BUPA Extras cover depending on your policy and available annual limits. Confirm with BUPA before your appointment.

HICAPS On-the-Spot Claiming for BUPA Members

Dentists @ Canning Vale offers HICAPS on-the-spot claiming for eligible BUPA members. Your benefit is processed directly at the clinic on the day of your appointment. Where a no-gap arrangement applies, there may be nothing to pay. For other services, you pay any remaining gap. Please bring your current BUPA membership card or accepted digital claiming method.

Where your BUPA Extras policy includes dental cover, you may be able to claim benefits for eligible treatments, subject to your annual limits and fund rules. Services include dental check-ups and examinations, professional cleaning, dental x-rays, fillings, preventative dentistry, family dentistry, emergency care, mouthguards, root canal treatment, gum health care, cosmetic dental consultations, and implant consultations.
