Selena Nguyen

Selena is an Oral Health Therapist holding a Bachelor of Oral Health from The
University of Melbourne (2016) and an Adult Scope Extension from The University of
Sydney (2019).

After graduating, Selena spent almost four years working full time in a busy regional
clinic in Kalgoorlie before relocating to Perth, where she has continued to build
extensive experience across both general and emergency dental settings, treating
patients of all ages.

What truly sets Selena apart is her deep commitment to patients who experience
dental anxiety.

Selena is one of a rare group of dental professionals who is also trained in medical hypnotherapy, a powerful, evidence-informed tool she uses alongside her genuine communication skills to help anxious patients feel safe, heard, and in control.

She takes the time to sit with you, listen carefully to your concerns, and treats every detail you share as valuable, because to her, it is.

She is fluent in Vietnamese and speaks some Mandarin, and is always happy to
welcome new patients with a warm conversation and a genuine smile. Outside of dentistry, Selena enjoys cooking, exploring food, hiking, and caring for her
indoor plants.
